PERB Regional Attorney Valerie Racho counted the ballots and certified the count. Notice was served to Local 221 President Sharon-Frances Moore, County of San Diego Labor Relations representative Susan Brazeau and CR bargaining unit employee Wally Gutierrez, all of whom were in attendance to witness the count.
"I congratulate Crafts for standing up to union management who chose to poorly serve the members", said Joann Hofelich, CR employee and former Local 2028 E-Board member. Willie Batac, another CR employee said he had spent quite a bit of time helping with the petition and in getting the vote out and was very pleased with the result.
